That FAQ entry was published in 2018. The P.O. box number and ZIP Code are what route the letter, so a dated attention line doesn’t stop it from arriving at the box.
Does Brandon Sanderson reply to fan mail?
His contact page says he tries to reply to all reader mail, but replies can take several months, and sometimes he gets too swamped to reply at all.
