Terms of use

1. Agreement and company ownership

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Great Lakes Computing Office LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They govern your access to and use of the IRIS Postal Forms website, applications, order pages, templates, administrator tools, and related printing, mailing, tracking, and communication services (collectively, the “Service”).

By accessing the Site, submitting a document, creating an order, or otherwise using the Service, you accept these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Acceptable Use Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

The Service lets you upload or generate a PDF, enter sender and recipient information, select print and mailing options, pay through Stripe, and submit a physical letter for fulfillment through Lob and USPS. Available options, prices, estimated timelines, and tracking detail may vary.

Great Lakes Computing Office LLC is an independent service provider. It is not the United States Postal Service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by USPS. References to USPS products describe third-party postal services.

3. Eligibility and authority

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter this agreement. If you use the Service for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” includes both you and the organization.

4. Your orders and responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

• the document, message, names, addresses, and instructions you submit;
• reviewing the final PDF and print options before payment;
• providing a complete, accurate, and lawful sender and return address;
• having the right and lawful purpose to contact each recipient;
• providing notices or obtaining permissions required for another person’s information;
• complying with postal, consumer-protection, privacy, intellectual-property, and other laws; and
• keeping the nonpublic order-status link and tracking information reasonably secure.

If you use a browser-integrated AI assistant or other automation, you remain responsible for its entries and for reviewing the visible draft, addresses, options, and total. IRIS WebMCP tools may search workflows, fill visible drafts, verify addresses, apply mailing options, display prices, and, when offered, create a pending order and open Stripe Checkout. Invoking a WebMCP tool does not by itself authorize payment or mailing.

You must personally review and submit the Stripe Checkout payment interface. A letter is not released for printing or mailing unless Stripe reports successful payment. Every order remains subject to the Service’s validation and security measures and our enforcement rights under these Terms and the Acceptable Use Policy.

Address verification reduces errors but does not guarantee that an address belongs to the intended person, that a recipient accepts mail there, or that USPS will complete delivery.

5. Templates are not legal advice

Templates, examples, labels, and suggested wording are provided for convenience and general information. They are not legal, tax, financial, medical, or other professional advice and do not create an attorney-client or professional relationship. Laws and required notices vary. You are responsible for reviewing and adapting a document and consulting a qualified professional when appropriate.

6. Acceptable use

You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. Among other restrictions, you may not use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, threatening, harassing, privacy-invasive, infringing, deceptive, or unsolicited bulk mail.

7. Your documents and limited fulfillment license

As between you and Company, you retain any rights you hold in documents you submit. You grant Company and its fulfillment providers a limited, nonexclusive, worldwide license to host, copy, validate, render, transmit, disclose, print, and otherwise process the document and order information only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support, and fulfill the Service, comply with law, and enforce these Terms. This license ends when the information is deleted, subject to operational backups and legally required records.

You represent that you have all rights necessary to grant this license and that processing the content as directed will not violate another person’s rights or any law.

8. Prices, payment, and taxes

The total shown at Checkout is based on the document page count and selected options and may include printing, postage, provider charges, and service fees. You authorize Stripe to charge the payment method you provide for that amount. You are responsible for applicable taxes unless the Checkout expressly states they are included. Prices and available options may change prospectively.

Stripe independently processes payment credentials. A payment authorization or receipt does not guarantee acceptance of prohibited, technically invalid, or undeliverable content.

When that capability is offered, a browser assistant or WebMCP tool may prepare the order and navigate to Checkout, but it may not submit Stripe’s payment interface on your behalf. By personally submitting Checkout, you confirm the displayed document, addresses, mailing options, and total and authorize the resulting charge.

9. Cancellations, reprocessing, and refunds

Orders begin automated processing after payment. Contact us promptly if you request a cancellation, but cancellation is not guaranteed once a document has been submitted to the print network. Printing, postage, Certified Mail, return-receipt, and other third-party costs already incurred are nonrefundable except as required by law.

If a paid order cannot be submitted because of a verified failure attributable to the Service, Company may, at its option and as appropriate, reprocess the order, issue a full or partial refund, or provide another reasonable remedy. Incorrect addresses, recipient refusal, ordinary postal delay, inaccessible delivery locations, and content or instructions supplied by you are not Service failures.

10. Printing, mailing, and delivery

Lob and its print network produce mailpieces, and USPS performs transportation and final delivery. Production dates, scan events, and delivery dates are estimates unless applicable law expressly provides otherwise. Weather, holidays, address quality, postal operations, recipient action, and other circumstances outside Company’s control may cause delays, returns, damage, or nondelivery.

Colors, margins, scaling, duplex alignment, paper, and other physical characteristics may differ modestly from an on-screen preview. You should keep your own copy of every submitted document.

11. Certified Mail and tracking

Certified Mail and electronic return-receipt options provide only the records made available by Lob or USPS. They do not guarantee delivery by a particular date, prove the legal effect of a notice, establish the identity or authority of a signer, or insure the contents. Consult a qualified professional about legal-service or deadline requirements.

Tracking events may be delayed, incomplete, corrected, or unavailable. The public order-status URL is a bearer link: anyone who obtains it may see the limited order and tracking information displayed there.

12. Third-party services

The Service depends on providers including Stripe, Lob, USPS, and Amazon Web Services. Their products may be governed by separate terms and privacy notices. We are not responsible for a third party’s independent acts, systems, policies, or outages, although these Terms continue to govern Company’s own conduct.

13. Company property and permitted access

Except for your documents and third-party materials, the Site and Service—including software, workflows, page designs, graphics, text, compilation, trademarks, and the IRIS Postal Forms name—are owned by or licensed to Great Lakes Computing Office LLC and are protected by intellectual-property and unfair-competition laws.

Subject to these Terms, Company grants you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable right to access and use the Service for its intended purpose. No other right is granted by implication, estoppel, or otherwise.

14. Feedback

If you voluntarily provide an idea or suggestion about the Service, you permit Company to use it without restriction or compensation. Do not submit confidential information as feedback.

15. Refusal, suspension, and termination

We may reject, suspend, cancel, or limit an order or access when reasonably necessary to address suspected fraud, illegal content, security risk, provider restrictions, payment failure, violation of these Terms, or harm to Company, a recipient, a provider, or the public. Where appropriate and legally permitted, we may preserve records and cooperate with authorities or affected providers.

16. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site, Service, templates, status information, and third-party services are provided “as is” and “as available.” Company disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, noninfringement, and any warranty arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.

Company does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular legal deadline or purpose; that a document will have a desired legal or commercial effect; or that a carrier or recipient will complete a particular action. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

17. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Great Lakes Computing Office LLC and its members, employees, contractors, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising from or related to the Service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Company’s aggregate liability arising from an order or these Terms will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid Company for the order giving rise to the claim or one hundred United States dollars. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited.

18. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Great Lakes Computing Office LLC and its members, employees, contractors, and agents from third-party claims, losses, liabilities, damages, judgments, and reasonable costs arising from your document or order, your violation of law or another person’s rights, or your material breach of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy.

19. Electronic communications

You consent to receive transactional communications electronically at the email address provided through Checkout. Electronic records, notices, disclosures, and agreements satisfy legal writing requirements to the extent permitted by law.

20. Disputes and applicable law

Before filing a claim, you and Company agree to make a reasonable good-faith effort to resolve the issue informally by providing a written description of the dispute and the requested resolution. These Terms are governed by applicable United States law and the laws applicable to Company, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise.

21. Changes and general terms

We may update these Terms prospectively. The effective date above identifies the current version. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without Company’s written consent; Company may assign them as part of a reorganization or business transaction.

These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Acceptable Use Policy, and any order-specific terms presented at Checkout constitute the entire agreement about the Service and supersede prior or contemporaneous statements on the same subject.

22. Contact

Questions, cancellation requests, and legal notices may be submitted through the IRIS Postal Forms contact page. Include the order identifier when the request concerns an order, but do not include complete payment-card details, passwords, full Social Security numbers, or document attachments.
