Does Certified Mail make delivery faster?

No faster delivery is promised. Certified Mail adds a mailing record and delivery information to eligible First-Class Mail.

Is a recipient signature included?

The optional electronic return receipt adds a delivery record showing the recipient signature when available from USPS.

Does IRIS provide legal advice about proof of service?

No. Requirements vary by document, agency, court, contract, and jurisdiction. Confirm the required mailing method before sending.
